Refuel after school with this yummy fruit and dip recipe. Yum-oh!
Fruit, chunked and skewered
Strawberries, grapes, pineapple, apples, melon (really any fruit your child finds irresistible)
1 cup low-fat sour cream (or your go-to non-dairy substitute)
2 tablespoons brown sugar (maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (lemon or orange will work too)
Sprinkle of cinnamon, optional (because cinnamon makes everything taste better)
Mix low-fat sour cream or dairy substitute, brown sugar or sugar substitute, fresh lime juice, and optional cinnamon in a bowl and combine. Dip skewers in the dip!
